Chef Lefteris Karelis was born and raised on the Greek island of Crete.
When completing his 23 years, he decided to move to Greece’s capital, Athens where he also completed his studies in the known Le Monde School.
His very first cooking career steps were made in the magnificent Costa Navarino so to be followed, 2 years later, by a significant move to France where he obtained his Master’s Degree as well as his additional expertise while working in both Paris and Cannes. Next station was the vibrant London, where he worked for over 3 years in renowned restaurants such as: Mylos, 2 Mazi, Frenchie.
Upon his return to mother land, Greece he worked as a Sous Chef alongside well known Chefs in the renowned Restaurant Ithaki, to then become a Head Chef at En Plo and Riviera Coast, right before his embarkment to our very own Catch Restaurant & Bar; all restaurants known for their passion in Greek cuisine and fresh catches.
